Driveway Apron

The Details

Brief

I was asked to tidy up the approach apron to a gravel driveway after the road had fresh tarmac laid.

My customer chose a lovely grey block to be used!

Solution

We removed the existing battered concrete and flattened the area. We raised the sunken meter so it was level with the block apron.

We also fitted black iron gates to smarten the entrance up.

Sadly it rained heavily so we had to string tarpaulins so we could mortar the edging blocks in.  

It always seems to rain when I work in this road!!!!!!!!
